The heart of Hills soccer

Here at Hahndorf Soccer Club, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be part of the beautiful game. From the youngest of our Minis to the veterans of our Men’s & Women’s teams, we help players of all ages & abilities to develop their skills, work together and focus on improving. Our club is a friendly community built on inclusion, enjoyment, fairness and respect, with affordable membership and no trials or grading.

With a proud history as one of the oldest soccer clubs in the Adelaide Hills, we’ve drawn on decades of experience to build a well-organised, 100% volunteer-run club with qualified & engaging coaches and strong development opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers.

Don’t take our word for it – come along and see for yourself!

Our next free come & Try Sessions:

Adults – 2024 pre season training Tuesdays & Thursdays from 16th Jan

Juniors – Wed 21st Feb & Wed 28th Feb

Playing Options

Juniors

As a founding member of the Adelaide Hills Junior Soccer Association (AHJSA), you’ll find many older players in the region started out in our friendly juniors, where their love of the game was firmly established! Training sessions start in February, with the playing season usually running from March/April to September.

Our three stages for young players:

  • Minis Squad (under 5yo) – weekly skills development session
  • Juniors (6-11yo) – weekly training & non-competitive Saturday games (AHJFA league)
  • Competitive Juniors (12-17yo) – weekly training & competitive Saturday games (AHJFA league)

The club offers additional workshops throughout the year for players and their families (such as goalkeeping, respect, rules & refereeing). Juniors seeking further development are supported & encouraged to attend trials for league representative teams and other playing opportunities.

Seniors

Each season Hahndorf fields teams in Women’s and Men’s senior competitions. Training takes place twice a week, with preseason commencing mid-January.

Women’s teams play within a division of the Football South Australia (FSA) Women’s League, with games usually held on Sundays.

Men’s teams play within the Collegiate Soccer League (CSL), with games usually held on Saturdays.

Locations

Our home ground, Rob Kilpatrick Park, is at the top of the Hahndorf Recreation Grounds at Pine Avenue in Hahndorf. Training is usually held here for Minis & Juniors. Depending on availability, some Competitive Junior and Senior teams may also train at the new Summit Football Park in Mt Barker.
